Lay Eucarist Ministry
The Lay Eucharistic ministers' regular days are the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month. Of course if you are facing a crisis, death, surgery, or the like, our rector is happy to bring you Eucharist whenever it is required. If you need communion at home , we need to know your Name , Address and a return phone number. If you are in a hospital , please give us your name , the name of the hospital, your room number and a phone number where we can contact you. Because of recent privacy laws at the hospitals they are unable to give us information about how to find you. We are also more than happy to bring you Holy Eucahrist at nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The visit will take about 15 - 20 minutes. We will read you the Gospel lesson of the day, pray with you for any special needs or concerns, bring you a service leaflet so you can keep up with what is happening at the church, and of course share with you in the breaking of the bread. Please when you contact our office to sign-up for a visit let us know how many will be taking communion. Winter
Notices: If this
is a Emergency Communion (Life/Death Situation). Please contact Susan, our
rector, at home. |
