ANNUAL MEETING & BISHOP’S COMMITTEE ELECTIONS
The Annual Meeting for St. Peter’s will occur on 22 January, immediately following worship service. In preparation for this meeting, all ministries are required to submit a report that includes summary information on members, accomplishments, issues, etc. There is no official template, so use your judgment (usually 1 page or less). Please finalize all reports one week prior (15 Jan) and submit them to Mother Claudia by e-mail (cdseiter@comcast.net).
The Bishop’s Committee elections will also be held at the Annual Meeting. Right now is the time to be thinking of nominees for the vacancies on the Bishop’s Committee. We will have three positions open. Consider yourself or someone else in our congregation to serve on the Bishop’s Committee. Two positions have the standard three-year commitment and one position has a one-year remaining commitment. We will have an easel set up in the narthex with the names of candidates, giving everyone a chance to participate in nominating and voting.

Thanks to al of you who drop off food and other items in the basket. THe need is so great, and every can or box or bag helps.
Protein-rich foods like macaroni and cheese, tuna, chicken, and ham are great as well as beans and evaporated milk. Bags of flour, sugar, rice and pasta are also needed. Requests for diapers and toilet paper come in as well. If several of us go together we can buy big boxes at better prices! When you are shopping, please remember those in need. Thank you!
