The Rev. Susan Beem Beery is originally from The Diocese of Eastern Oregon. She attended and graduated from Oregon State University and The Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
She was ordained to the priesthood in 1985. In 1991 she married John Beery, a psychologist in the United State Air Force. Due mostly to this fact, Susan has served as a parish priest, school chaplain, chaplain at a children's psychiatric hospital, associate for children and family ministries, associate at an American Episcopal parish in Frankfurt, Germany and a supply chaplain for the British Royal Air Force in The Netherlands. Susan and John have two children, Emily, 12, and Noah, 11.

Susan loves to read novels, paint in oils, hike the bench above her house and play with Rusty the church dog. Her one unmet goal in life is to see the Northern Lights.
